great access to amazing parks and landmarks nearby

I had an amazing stay with an excellent breakfast and a spacious room. The location was fantastic as it was just a few minutes away from the train station and close to beautiful parks like Pfingstweid Park for a lovely stroll.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive throughout our stay. We truly appreciated the clean and well-furnished room, which made our family experience enjoyable.

However, the location is somewhat distant from the main attractions.

Check-in was slow, which can really mess with your first impression. I struggled with the door lock. it needed a good 10-20 seconds to respond every time. The lack of a minibar meant making unnecessary trips downstairs for basic items like water, which isn't ideal after a long day. The wellness center felt underwhelming. the hot tub was out of order, and no one had a bathrobe, creating a hassle to find one. Plus, the absence of USB Type-C chargers made it harder to stay connected. Even worse, housekeeping could've done a better job. there were some cleanliness issues in my room that shouldn't have been overlooked.

I appreciated the modern decor and spacious layout, making it comfortable for seniors. The hotel's accessibility features included elevators and wide corridors, which made moving around easy, adding to the enjoyable experience during my stay.

More amenities in the room would be helpful.

Stylish, Spacious, Fine

It was all about those bright, large windows that flooded the space with natural light. Talk about a perfect backdrop for my morning coffee! Plus, getting around was a breeze-the public transportation was super close The spa facilities were on point, providing the ultimate relaxation experience after a day of exploring!

Friendly staff, clean hotel.

Great location but needs some tweaks

We had a pretty decent stay for two nights. The room was spacious and super clean, but no kettle was a bummer. Also, they didn’t clean every day unless you asked, which was kinda odd. The restaurant was nice though, loved the meals we had there! And the metro nearby was a huge plus!

Location near Altstetten station is super convenient. Room temperature control is very limited, didn't work well for us.

Location is super convenient, only about 250m from Altstetten station. The Privilege Double Room had a nice view and was spacious with all the necessities, flat-screen TV, minibar, and comfy sofa bed. Loved the spa facilities—especially the sauna and hot tub. The staff was really helpful, and we got free coffee vouchers which was a nice touch!

This hotel was an excellent fit for a city trip in Zurich with good value for the price. The reception staff was really friendly and helped us with our requests. Tip, Check their parking rules carefully before arriving.

I recently had a great stay with standout breakfast options and a lovely rooftop area, but the room size was different from what I expected based on photos. Definitely planning to return!

had a great stay at mercure! the wellness area is a real highlight, with multiple saunas and a spacious fitness room. it's super close to the altstetten train station, making it easy to explore. breakfast was pretty good and the lady serving was really friendly! overall, the staff were pleasant and helpful.

The fitness center was solid, plenty of machines and open 24/7. The staff were friendly and always available to help us with our questions.

It wasn't cheap but still acceptable for what we got.
